As is sit here at my computer writing this, it is July 28, 2020 and we have been here on Maui for seven days. We have, so far, prayed over 10 locations and we will be heading out within the next hour for our final two prayer locations today. This has been a very interesting trip for sure.
We arrived July 21, before we went to bed that evening, we get a call that we are under a tsunami watch. We prayed against it. 30 minutes later received another call, tsunami watch cancelled. Praise God!
July 22 we prayed at our first two locations… the ruins of an ancient fishing village at La Perouse Bay and Malo’s Kilolani Church.

July 23 we headed up the Hana Highway to pray. For those not familiar with Maui, the Hana Highway is a 40 mile road that has 600 hair-pin turns, about 60 1 lane bridges and several places the road narrows to just enough room for one car. It’s a white knuckle road for sure. We were only to pray over two locations, but I felt impressed of the Holy Spirit we needed to go ahead and pray over the third location, which was also in that area, so we did. We tried to get to our first location, had to hike, but there was a rock slide that blocked the path so we decided to pray as close as we could get. This for the birthplace of Queen Ka’ahumanu which is a cave near the Hana Pier. We also prayed over the Wainapanapa lava tube cave and our third location the Lanakila Ihiihi O’na Iehova Kaua Church.
Will give a full update when our assignment is finished for today!
Mahalo for all your prayers, love and support!
